Over 40 RAP students, RAs, RAP faculty and peer mentors attended Chicago’s legendary comedy theater “The Second City” at the Denver Center for Performing Arts.
The Second City has been a training ground for many of the topic comedians in the country including Tina Fey, Steve Carrell, and Stephen Colbert. The show’s satirical sketches, songs, and improvisations provided the basis for discussion about humor as a form of civic discourse and the impact of humor on our understanding of political processes.
