Roller Derby

The season opener of Denver’s roller derby team, the Denver Roller Dolls, was held at the First Bank Center and allowed for an exciting and unique experience for many students. In addition to learning about the rules and culture of roller derby, students were able to examine the ways in which gender roles and stereotypes were both rejected and enforced in the women’s sport.
