Mary Caron at the beach

I am an MA student in the Discourse & Society track of the Department of Communication. I’m mostly interested in studying discourses of mental health and identity through the ethnography of communication, which means I look at the culturally shared ways that people talk about mental illness. Although grad school demands a lot of time, I like to keep myself busy with fun things, too. I love to run, play guitar, and read. I’m very excited to be serving as the GA in the COMM RAP this semester!
